Kick has three monetization steps. First, you stream 5 hours in total and can turn on subscriptions. Next, your channel gets verified (at the time of writing: 15 hours streamed, an average of 50 viewers, 100 unique chatters and 10 active subs in the past 30 days, plus security checks). Last, a verified channel with an average of 75 viewers and the other numbers below can apply to the Kick Partner Program (KPP), which pays you for each stream.

All numbers on this page come from Kick's help center and from [streamer.kick.com/partner](https://streamer.kick.com/partner), checked on October 24, 2026. Kick says the numbers can change. Your **Achievements** page in the Creator Dashboard shows your own progress, and most of its numbers update once a day ([Understanding Kick achievements](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7113325-understanding-kick-achievements)).

## The three steps at a glance

| Step | What you need | What it gives you | How you get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Subscriptions (Kick calls this Affiliate, Partner or Streamer status) | 5 hours streamed in total | Subs, gifted subs, and KICKs after Stripe setup | Click **Enable Subscriptions** in your Streamer Dashboard |
| 2. Verified channel | In the past 30 days: 15 hours, 50 average viewers, 100 unique chatters, 10 active subs, plus security checks | Longer VOD storage, VOD pins, weekly payouts on request, and the right to apply for the KPP | Email Kick (see below) |
| 3. Kick Partner Program (KPP) | Verified, plus in the past 30 days: 75 average viewers, 30 hours, 25 active subs, 250 unique chatters, 3 VODs, and 250 followers | Pay for each stream, based on your viewers | Email Kick, or apply with Fast Track |

## Kick uses different names for the same steps

Kick's pages do not use one name for each step, so the words you read online can be confusing. This is what we found on Kick's own pages:

- **Step 1** is called "Partner" in Kick's article [How to become a Kick Partner](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/12273402-how-to-become-a-kick-partner-and-how-kick-streaming-works). Kick's [revenue split article](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/15159722-understanding-kick-s-revenue-split) links to the same article as "How to Become a KICK Affiliate", and says you need to be an "Affiliate or Partner" to earn from subs. The FAQ on [streamer.kick.com/partner](https://streamer.kick.com/partner) says you "must be an affiliate" before you can get verified. The [Guide to KICKs](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/12134119-guide-to-kicks) calls it "Streamer status".
- **Step 3** is the Kick Partner Program (KPP). Kick says it started in February 2024 as the KICK Creator Incentive Program (KCIP). The help center still links the "KCIP Terms and Conditions" in its list of rules.

On this page, "step 1" means the 5-hour step and "KPP" means the Partner Program that pays per stream.

## Step 1: Turn on subscriptions

You need to stream at least 5 hours in total. The hours add up over many streams, so five one-hour streams count. When you reach 5 hours, the **Enable Subscriptions** button shows in your Streamer Dashboard ([How to become a Kick Partner](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/12273402-how-to-become-a-kick-partner-and-how-kick-streaming-works)).

To turn on subs:

1. Open your **Streamer Dashboard** and go to **Revenue**.
2. Choose your country and click **Set Up Account**.
3. Finish the Stripe setup: email, phone code, your details and your bank account ([How to set up Kick subscriptions](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7146688-how-to-set-up-kick-subscriptions)).

What this step gives you:

- **Subscriptions and gifted subs.** You keep 95% of each $5 sub.
- **KICKs.** Kick says anyone with "Streamer status" in their Achievements and a finished Stripe Connect setup can receive KICKs ([Guide to KICKs](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/12134119-guide-to-kicks)).
- **Live chat with Kick support.** Kick says the Live Chat support option in your Creator Dashboard is only available after you complete the Affiliate Status achievements ([Understanding your Kick Creator Dashboard](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7120642-understanding-your-kick-creator-dashboard)).

If Stripe does not work in your country, you cannot set up subscriptions yet. Kick also recommends two-factor authentication from day one and requires it for earning money (see [Kick streaming requirements](https://kickbot.com/guides/start/kick-streaming-requirements)).

## Step 2: Get your channel verified

A verified channel is required before you can apply to the KPP. Kick lists the same four stream numbers in two places ([streamer.kick.com/partner](https://streamer.kick.com/partner) FAQ, and the help article [How to become a verified streamer](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7135949-how-to-become-a-verified-streamer-on-kick-com)). All of them count the past 30 days:

- Stream 15 hours.
- An average of at least 50 concurrent viewers.
- 100 unique chatters.
- At least 10 active subs.

The security checks are where the two pages differ:

| Security check | streamer.kick.com FAQ | Help center article |
|---|---|---|
| Two-factor authentication on | Yes | Yes |
| At least 2 VODs on your channel in the past 7 days | Yes | Yes |
| No Terms of Service violations in the past 30 days | Yes | Yes |
| A confirmed phone number | Yes | Not listed |
| No username change in the past 30 days | Yes | Not listed |

To be safe, meet all five. The help article says verification is still checked by hand ("beta stages").

### How to apply for verification

The help center says: when your channel meets the requirements, send an email to **verify@kick.com** from the email address on your Kick account. Include your channel name and the type of content you stream ([How to become a verified streamer](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7135949-how-to-become-a-verified-streamer-on-kick-com)). Meeting the numbers makes you eligible. It does not guarantee verification.

### What verification gives you

- **Longer VOD storage.** Verified channels keep stream replays for up to 30 days and can have 30 replays. Other channels keep them for 7 days, with up to 16 replays ([Kick VODs](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7112432-kick-vods-stream-replays)).
- **Pinned VODs.** Partner and Verified channels can pin up to 5 VODs, which keeps them for good ([Pinning your VODs](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/16879079-pinning-your-vods)).
- **Weekly payouts.** Verified streamers can choose weekly or monthly payouts. Kick says you ask support@kick.com to change it ([Kick payout schedule](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/15159725-kick-payout-schedule-thresholds-and-methods)). See [how Kick payouts work](https://kickbot.com/guides/money/kick-payouts).
- **The right to apply to the KPP.**

## Step 3: Join the Kick Partner Program

The KPP pays you for each stream, based on your viewers, on top of your sub income. The help center lists these requirements ([How to join the Kick Partner Program](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/8894103-how-to-join-the-kick-partner-program), updated July 7, 2026):

- A verified channel.
- Social media links and a completed About section on your profile.
- An average of at least 75 concurrent viewers in the past 30 days.
- 30 hours streamed in the past 30 days.
- At least 25 active subscriptions in the past 30 days.
- 250 unique chatters in the past 30 days.
- 3 VODs in the past 30 days.
- At least 250 followers.
- You follow the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, DMCA Policy and the program terms.

> **Note:** [streamer.kick.com/partner](https://streamer.kick.com/partner) lists the same numbers but does not list the 3 VODs. The help center lists them, so keep at least 3 VODs on your channel. The streamer page says to delete VODs only to remove sensitive or leaked data. Deleting a VOD also removes its hours from your stats ([Kick VODs](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7112432-kick-vods-stream-replays)).

### How to apply to the KPP

When you meet the numbers, send an email to **kickpartners@kick.com** from the email address on your Kick account, and include your Kick username ([How to join the Kick Partner Program](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/8894103-how-to-join-the-kick-partner-program)). The streamer page also has an **Apply now** button. Kick says it costs nothing to join, and that meeting the numbers makes you eligible but does not guarantee a place.

### Fast Track for streamers from other platforms

Fast Track is for creators who already have an audience somewhere else. You do not need to meet the stream numbers above, and you do not need to stream on Kick yet. You do need a Kick account, and you can make one during the application ([streamer.kick.com/partner](https://streamer.kick.com/partner)).

Kick says you may be eligible if you are a Twitch Partner, have 50,000 or more YouTube subscribers, or 250,000 or more followers on Instagram or TikTok, and that you can apply even if you are not sure. To apply:

1. Open [streamer.kick.com/partner#fast-track](https://streamer.kick.com/partner#fast-track).
2. Click **Fast Track Now**, or **Check Eligibility** if you are not sure.
3. Fill in the form. You get an email that confirms your application.

Kick says its partnerships team answers within 24 hours. If your brand name is already taken on Kick, the team can look at a name change as part of the review.

### How KPP pay works

Kick does not publish a fixed rate. It says rates use a rolling window of your recent streams (including the current one), your average audience, and content factors such as language and region ([How we calculate KPP rates](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/17225591-how-we-calculate-kpp-rates)). One quiet stream does not change your rate much, and steady streaming counts for more than a short spike. Kick says it keeps the formula private so people cannot game it.

Views, follows or watch time from bots, fake accounts or engagement tools never count. If Kick finds them, it can reject a Fast Track application, reverse a payout, or suspend or end your KPP membership ([How we assess KPP eligibility](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/17225595-how-we-assess-kpp-eligibility)).

### KPP rules while you stream

- **Some categories are not paid.** Streams in Just Sleeping and gambling categories are not paid ([streamer.kick.com/partner](https://streamer.kick.com/partner)).
- **Stay active with chat.** Kick says KPP needs active chat interaction. Partners can turn KPP income off with `/kpp off`, for example for a watch party or when you step away ([Kick chat commands](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7112979-kick-chat-commands)).
- **Multistreaming.** Turn on the **Multistreaming** toggle (or type `/multi on`) when you also stream to Twitch, YouTube or another long-form platform. Your KPP pay is 50% lower while it is on, and streaming elsewhere without it breaks the program terms ([Multistreaming on the KPP](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/11091744-multistreaming-on-the-kick-partner-program)). See [multistream to Kick and Twitch](https://kickbot.com/guides/setup/multistream-kick-and-twitch).
- **Original live content.** No mirror streams, blank streams or pre-recorded content.

## Read the Partner terms before you join

You agree to the [KICK Partner Terms and Conditions](https://kick.com/partner-terms-and-conditions) when you turn on the KPP option in your dashboard. Some points that streamers often miss:

- **Content license (section 1).** You give Kick an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to the content you create on Kick.com, and it continues after you leave the program.
- **Your rate is confidential (section 2).** The amount and calculation of your KPP pay count as Kick's confidential information.
- **Not exclusive (section 5).** You can stream on other platforms, with the multistream toggle on.
- **Kick can end it (section 6).** Kick can end your participation at once, "for any reason (or no reason)".
- **Public statements (section 7).** You agree not to criticize or disparage Kick.
- **Tax (section 4).** Kick withholds tax where the law requires it.

This is a short summary, not legal advice. Read the full terms, and ask a lawyer if a point matters to you.

## How you can lose verification or the KPP

Kick lists the grounds for refusing or removing verification or KPP status ([Grounds for revoking verification or the KPP](https://help.kick.com/en/articles/7901645-grounds-for-revoking-or-refusing-verification-or-the-kick-partner-program)):

- Repeated Terms of Service violations within 30 days.
- Any stat manipulation, including groups that inflate stats to reach the numbers, or subscribing to your own channel with your own money.
- 90 days without streaming.
- Mirror streams, blank streams, pre-recorded content, or a channel without VODs.

If you are refused, wait 30 days and apply again. To appeal a removed verification, email **verify@kick.com** with the subject "Appeal" and your handle.

## How to reach the numbers

The numbers that stop most channels are average viewers and unique chatters. They grow when you stream on a schedule, talk to every chatter, and bring people in from clips and other streamers:

- [How to grow on Kick](https://kickbot.com/guides/grow/grow-on-kick) puts the steps in order.
- [Kick raids and collaborations](https://kickbot.com/guides/grow/kick-raids) bring viewers from streamers in your niche.
- [Useful Kick chat commands](https://kickbot.com/guides/grow/kick-chat-commands) and a [chat bot](https://kickbot.com/guides/setup/kick-chat-bot-setup) keep chat active and answer common questions for you.

Do not buy viewers, followers or chatters. Kick does not count them, and they can cost you the program and your channel.

For all the ways to earn on Kick, including tips and sponsors that do not depend on these steps, see [how to make money on Kick](https://kickbot.com/guides/money/make-money-on-kick).

## FAQ

**What are the Kick Partner Program requirements?**

A verified channel, a completed profile with social links, and in the past 30 days: an average of 75 concurrent viewers, 30 hours streamed, 25 active subs, 250 unique chatters and 3 VODs. You also need at least 250 followers. Then you email kickpartners@kick.com.

**How do you get verified on Kick?**

In the past 30 days, stream 15 hours with an average of 50 viewers, 100 unique chatters and 10 active subs. Turn on two-factor authentication, keep 2 VODs from the past 7 days, and have no rule violations. Then email verify@kick.com from your account email with your channel name and content type.

**How do you become a Kick affiliate?**

Stream 5 hours in total. Kick then shows the **Enable Subscriptions** button in your Streamer Dashboard. Kick's pages call this step Affiliate, Partner or Streamer status, but it is the same 5-hour step.

**How much does the Kick Partner Program pay?**

Kick does not publish a rate. Pay is per stream and is based on your recent average audience and content factors such as language and region. Your KPP rate is confidential under the Partner terms.

**Can I be in the Kick Partner Program and stream on Twitch?**

Yes. Turn on the Multistreaming toggle when you stream to Twitch or YouTube at the same time. Your KPP pay is 50% lower for that stream.
