How Kick payouts work
Kick pays streamers through Stripe, to a bank account in a country that Stripe supports. Streamers who are not verified are paid once a month, and verified streamers can choose weekly or monthly payouts (Kick payout schedule, thresholds and methods). Your first payout comes at the end of the next monthly cycle, up to 30 days after the end of the month.
The facts on this page come from Kick’s help center and Terms of Service, checked in October 2026. Payout rules change, so check the linked Kick pages before you plan around a date.
What Kick pays out
Section titled “What Kick pays out”Kick pays you for:
- Subscriptions and gifted subs: you keep 95% of each $5 sub (Understanding Kick’s revenue split).
- KICKs: you receive 95% of the value of KICKs sent in your channel.
- The Kick Partner Program (KPP): pay per stream for channels in the program. See how to make money on Kick.
Tips that you get through an outside tip service are not paid by Kick. The service pays them on its own schedule. See tips paid by other services below.
Set up payouts with Stripe
Section titled “Set up payouts with Stripe”Kick says all payouts to streamers go through Stripe. To get paid, you finish Stripe’s identity check and add a bank account in a supported country (Kick payout schedule, thresholds and methods). Stripe Connect setup is also needed before you can receive KICKs (Guide to KICKs).
Things to know:
- PayPal is not a payout method. Kick says PayPal is only a way for viewers to pay for subscriptions.
- Your country must be supported by Stripe. If Stripe does not support payouts in your country, Kick says you cannot receive payouts (International payments and currency handling). Check Stripe’s list of supported countries before you rely on Kick income.
- Use your own details. Stripe checks your identity, so use your legal name and a bank account in your name.
Payout schedule
Section titled “Payout schedule”| Not verified | Verified | |
|---|---|---|
| How often | Monthly | Weekly or monthly, your choice |
| First payout | End of the next monthly cycle, up to 30 days after the end of the month | Same |
| Early payouts | Not available | Not available |

After Kick sends a payout, the time until it is in your account depends on your country and method:
- US bank (ACH): 2 to 3 business days.
- US instant payout to a debit card: minutes, up to $9,000 per payout.
- Outside the US: usually 3 to 7 business days.
Minimum payout
Section titled “Minimum payout”Kick’s sources do not say the same thing here:
- Kick’s Terms of Service (section 4.6, modified 23 March 2026) say payments are made no later than 30 days after the end of each calendar month, and only in months when you are owed at least $10.
- Kick’s payout help page does not give one fixed minimum. It says some countries have local rules with minimum payout amounts.
So under the Terms of Service, a month where you are owed less than $10 is not paid out that month.
Fees and currency
Section titled “Fees and currency”- Kick keeps 5% of subs and KICKs as a processing fee. You keep 95%.
- If your bank account is not in USD, Stripe charges a 1.5% currency conversion fee, and Kick says it pays this fee for you (Kick payout schedule, thresholds and methods).
Kick has a page about tax obligations for Kick streamers. At the time of writing:
- Stripe asks for a tax form: a W-9 if you live in the US, or a W-8 (or a local form) if you do not.
- Kick sends a 1099-NEC to US streamers whose payouts reach the yearly limit: $600 for 2025 and $2,000 for 2026. 1099s come in late January or early February.
- Kick may withhold tax from KPP payments where the law requires it. Missing tax details can cause more withholding.
Kick says it is not a tax advisor. Ask a tax professional in your country how to report your income.
Why a payout can be late or missing
Section titled “Why a payout can be late or missing”- Stripe setup is not finished. Open your payout settings on Kick and check for missing steps.
- You were owed less than $10. The Terms of Service only pay months with at least $10.
- It is your first payout. It comes at the end of the next monthly cycle, not right away.
- Bank holidays and weekends. Bank transfers do not move on those days.
- Your country is not supported by Stripe. Kick cannot pay out there.
If none of these fit, contact Kick support from the help center.
Tips are paid separately
Section titled “Tips are paid separately”Tips from a tip page are paid by the service that runs the page, not by Kick. Each service has its own schedule and fees. For example, KickBot tips are paid through Stripe on the 15th of each month, after a 7-day settlement period, with no minimum payout. See earnings and payouts and how to accept tips on Kick.
