How to send a TTS message on Kick
To send a TTS (text-to-speech) message on Kick, type the channel’s TTS command in chat, then a space and your message, for example !tts hello chat. If the streamer uses KickBot, each voice has its own command, such as !brian or !tiktok, and !voices posts a link to the list of voices. Your message is then read aloud on stream in that voice.
TTS on Kick comes from tools that the streamer adds to their stream. At the time of writing (October 2026), Kick’s help center does not describe a TTS feature of Kick itself. So the command and the rules are different on every channel.
Send a TTS message, step by step
Section titled “Send a TTS message, step by step”-
Sign in to Kick and open the channel while the streamer is live. TTS plays on the stream, so you only hear it while they stream.
-
Find the commands. Type
!voicesin chat. On a channel with KickBot, this posts a link to a page such askickbot.com/voices/channelnamewith every voice and its command. You can also check the channel’s panels below the stream, or type!commands. -
Type the command and your message in one line:
!brian hello chat, what are we playing? -
Press Enter. The message goes into the TTS queue and is read on stream when it is its turn.
On KickBot channels, every channel starts with these voice commands, if the streamer has them on:
| Command | Voice |
|---|---|
!tts | Male |
!tts2 | Female |
!brian | Brian |
!tiktok | TikTok TTS |
Many streamers add more voices from KickBot’s library of more than 3,000 voices. Each one has its own command. See the channel’s voice list for the full set.
Why your TTS message was not read
Section titled “Why your TTS message was not read”The streamer decides who can use TTS and how often. A message is not read when:
- The voice is only for some viewers. A streamer can make a voice for subs, VIPs or mods only.
- You are on a cooldown. Many channels allow one TTS message every few seconds or minutes per viewer, and there can be a wait after every message.
- The message is too long. On KickBot channels, a message over the streamer’s limit (up to 300 characters) is not read at all. It is not cut short.
- A filter blocked it. Streamers filter bad words and other content in TTS.
- TTS is off. The streamer and moderators can turn TTS off and on during a stream.
- The queue is long. Your message may play a little later.
Emotes and links are removed before a message is read. Keep messages short and clear, and you are more likely to hear them.
Paid TTS with a tip
Section titled “Paid TTS with a tip”Some streamers also read tip messages aloud. On a KickBot tip page, you pick an amount, write your message, and choose a TTS voice for it. The message plays on stream with an alert after you pay. See how to tip on Kick.
For streamers
Section titled “For streamers”If you want to add TTS to your own Kick stream, see TTS on Kick and set up TTS.
What is TTS on Kick?
TTS means text-to-speech. A viewer types a message in chat with a command, and a computer voice reads it aloud on the stream. It comes from a tool the streamer adds, such as KickBot.
What is the TTS command on Kick?
It depends on the channel. On channels with KickBot, the default commands are !tts, !tts2, !brian and !tiktok, plus any voices the streamer added. Type !voices in chat to get the full list.
Is TTS free for viewers on Kick?
Chat TTS with a command is free for viewers on KickBot channels. Paid TTS is when you send a tip with a message, which is read aloud with the voice you pick.
Why does nothing happen when I type the TTS command?
The voice may be for subs or VIPs only, you may be on a cooldown, your message may be too long, or TTS may be off. Ask a moderator, or check the channel’s voice list with !voices.
