KickBot vs Botrix

Kick details checked on October 24, 2026

KickBot and Botrix are both chat bots that work on Kick, and both have a free plan. The short answer: KickBot is the better fit if you stream on Kick and want a large TTS voice library and voice cloning, a !clip command that works without a browser extension, card tips with chargeback protection, and Kick VOD tools. Botrix is the better fit if you want loyalty points, song requests, giveaways and chat games, or if you also stream on Twitch, YouTube or Trovo.

KickBot is our product, so read this page with that in mind. Every Botrix fact below comes from Botrix’s own website, docs and dashboard text, checked on October 24, 2026. When we could not find a feature on their site, the table says “not listed on their site”. Both products change often, so check their sites before you decide.

  • TTS voices. KickBot has 4 free TTS voices and more than 3,000 voices with Premium, plus voice cloning for up to 10 voices. Each voice has its own chat command, and there is no monthly limit on TTS messages. Botrix’s cloud TTS has a monthly message limit on the Free plan, and Botrix labels its AI voices as experimental. See TTS on Kick.
  • Clips without an extension. KickBot’s !clip runs on KickBot’s servers, so it works while your browser is closed. Botrix says its !clip needs the Botrix browser extension and the Kick control panel open while you stream. KickBot clips also get a public clip page with downloads.
  • Card tips with protection. KickBot tipping takes card payments through Stripe on your own tip page. Each tip plays on stream with a TTS voice and a GIF, and you can reject a tip before it plays so the viewer is not charged. KickBot pays the $15 dispute fee and fights chargebacks. With PayPal, PayPal can charge you $15 to $30 per dispute. Viewers never see your name or email, while PayPal may show the payer your name and email, depending on your account settings (PayPal privacy statement).
  • More of each small tip. PayPal’s fixed fee is $0.49 per payment, and Stripe’s is $0.30. On a $2 tip, KickBot leaves you $1.52 and PayPal Checkout $1.44. From about $3.50 up, PayPal leaves you more (on $10: $9.16 with PayPal Checkout, $8.81 with KickBot). For viewers in other countries, KickBot’s fee stays the same, while PayPal adds 1.50%. See accept tips on Kick for the full numbers.
  • VOD tools. KickBot has a VOD downloader, a VOD editor and a clip downloader for Kick. Botrix does not list these on its site.
  • AI features. An AI character that answers in chat, with a choice of AI models on Premium, and AI images on stream with !imagine.
  • Chat filters. KickBot has zalgo text, repeated text, message length and regex filters, with a log of every deleted message. See moderation.
  • Stream Deck and AI apps. An official Stream Deck plugin, and a KickBot API and MCP server to manage your channel from ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps.
  • More platforms. Botrix works on Kick, Twitch, YouTube, Trovo and Discord. If you multistream or move between platforms, one bot for all of them saves setup time. KickBot is Kick only.
  • Loyalty and games. Botrix has points, levels, watch time, a points shop, predictions, raffles and point games such as roulette and slots. KickBot does not have a points system.
  • Song requests. Botrix has !sr with a queue (15 songs on Free, 50 on Premium) and filters for length and views. KickBot does not have song requests.
  • A bigger free plan for commands. Botrix Free allows 100 custom commands. On KickBot Free, 5 custom commands can be on at the same time.
  • No Botrix fee on PayPal donations. Botrix’s tip page says the money goes straight to your PayPal account, “excluding PayPal’s applicable fees”. On tips of about $3.50 and more, that leaves you more than KickBot.
  • More filter actions. Botrix filters can delete the message, post a warning or time out the user, and the link filter has a list of allowed domains. KickBot filters delete the message.
  • Imports. Botrix can import commands and timers from Nightbot and StreamElements.

Both bots do the basics well: custom commands with roles and cooldowns, built-in commands such as !followage, and timed messages. Botrix has more variable types and keyword commands (on Premium) that trigger without !. Botrix also lets you add commands from chat with !addcom. KickBot’s commands are managed in the dashboard, with variables for viewer, streamer, tagged user, stream data, random values and API requests. See custom commands and command variables.

Both bots have chat alerts and on-screen alerts for follows, subs, gifted subs and KICKs. Botrix also has chat alerts for raids, resubs and donations, and custom HTML/CSS alerts. Botrix has more overlay types, such as a subathon timer, hype train, polls and a fortune wheel. KickBot has a widget library with official and community widgets, and a widget builder to make your own.

At the time of writing (October 2026):

  • KickBot: Free plan, or Premium for $9.99 a month or $84 a year (USD). See Premium.
  • Botrix: Free plan, or Premium. Botrix does not list Premium prices on its public pages. They show on its Premium page after you sign in.
  • You stream on Kick and your chat loves TTS, or you want your own cloned voices.
  • You want !clip and VOD tools that work without an extension or extra apps.
  • You want card tips with chargeback protection, approval before the viewer pays, and your name kept private.
  • You want AI replies and AI images in your chat.

To try it, create your KickBot account and type /mod KickBot in your Kick chat. Most of KickBot is free.

Yes. Some streamers use one bot for most things and the other for one feature, for example Botrix for points and song requests and KickBot for TTS and tips. Make sure two bots do not answer the same command, or your chat gets two replies. Turn the command off in one of them.

Both bots need the moderator role in your channel. For KickBot, type /mod KickBot. See add KickBot as a moderator.

Is Botrix or KickBot better for Kick?

It depends on what you need. KickBot is better for TTS voices, voice cloning, card tips with chargeback protection, !clip without an extension and Kick VOD tools. Botrix is better for loyalty points, song requests, giveaways and multistreaming on several platforms. Both have a free plan, so you can try both.

Is Botrix free?

Botrix has a free plan with 100 custom commands. Premium adds unlimited commands, a custom bot name and higher limits.

Does Botrix have TTS on Kick?

Yes. Botrix has a TTS widget with browser voices and a cloud TTS with a monthly message limit on the Free plan. KickBot has 4 free TTS voices and 3,000+ voices with Premium.

Can I move from Botrix to KickBot?

There is no import tool. Add your commands and timed messages again in KickBot. See custom commands and timed messages. You can keep Botrix running for the features KickBot does not have.
