KickBot vs Kicklet

Kick details checked on October 24, 2026

KickBot and Kicklet are both chat bots made only for Kick, and both have a free plan. The short answer: KickBot is the better fit if you want TTS with a large voice library and voice cloning, a !clip command with public clip pages, a tip page for card payments with chargeback protection, and AI features in chat and on stream. Kicklet’s site lists none of these. Kicklet is the better fit if you want viewer points with a shop, giveaways, song requests, commands written in JavaScript, and moderation rules that can time out or ban.

KickBot is our product, so read this page with that in mind. Every Kicklet fact below comes from Kicklet’s own website (kicklet.app) and docs (kicklet.app/docs), checked on October 24, 2026. When we could not find a feature there, the table says “not listed on their site”. Both products change often, so check their sites before you decide.

  • TTS voices. KickBot has 4 free TTS voices and more than 3,000 voices with Premium, voice cloning for up to 10 voices, and auto read of chat. Each voice has its own chat command, and there is no monthly limit on TTS messages. TTS is not listed on Kicklet’s site or in its docs. See TTS on Kick.
  • Clips. KickBot’s !clip runs on KickBot’s servers and replies with a link. Every clip goes on your public clip page, where viewers can watch and download it. A clip command is not listed on Kicklet’s site.
  • Tips. KickBot tipping gives you a tip page with card payments through Stripe. Tips play on stream with a TTS voice and a GIF, and you can reject a tip before it plays so the viewer is not charged. KickBot pays the $15 dispute fee and fights chargebacks, and viewers never see your name or email. The cost is a 6% KickBot fee plus Stripe’s 2.9% + $0.30, so a $5 tip leaves you $4.25. Tips are not listed on Kicklet’s site, so with Kicklet you need a separate tip service. See accept tips on Kick.
  • AI features. An AI character that answers in chat with a choice of AI models on Premium, and AI images on stream with !imagine. Kicklet’s docs mention an AI assistant for changing settings, but AI replies in chat are not listed.
  • More VOD tools. Besides the VOD downloader, KickBot has a VOD editor to cut clips from a VOD and a clip downloader. Kicklet’s VOD downloader is free with no limit listed, while KickBot’s Free plan allows 2 VOD downloads a day.
  • More chat filters. Zalgo text, repeated text and message length filters, and a bad word filter with KickBot’s own list of swear words, so you do not have to write one. See moderation.
  • Team, Stream Deck and AI apps. Team roles with permissions for each feature, an official Stream Deck plugin, and a KickBot API and MCP server to manage your channel from ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps.
  • Points, shop and giveaways. Viewers earn points for chat messages and watch time (by default 1 point for each message and 1 for each minute), and subscribers can earn up to 10 times more. They spend points in a shop with items that play a sound, show an image, post a message or create an order for you to deliver. Giveaways can use a keyword or all active chatters, cost points to enter, and export entries as CSV. KickBot has no points system.
  • Song requests. Viewers add YouTube videos with !sr. The queue holds up to 50 songs, and you can reorder, skip and pause from the dashboard. KickBot does not have song requests.
  • Commands with code. Kicklet commands can run JavaScript, keep counters and variables, cost points, and work only while live or only while offline. Command groups turn a set of commands on or off together, for example game-specific commands. Moderators can add and edit commands from chat with !cmd add.
  • Stronger filter actions. Kicklet rules can delete the message, time out the user (1 minute to 7 days) or ban them, and the link rule has a list of allowed sites. Rules run in the order you set. KickBot filters delete the message.
  • Raid messages in chat. Kicklet can post a chat message when someone hosts (raids) your channel, with the number of viewers. KickBot chat alerts cover follows, subs, gifted subs and KICKs. For raids, KickBot has an on-screen Raid Alert.
  • Stats and history. Per-stream stats (messages, unique chatters, commands), a viewer ranking by watch time, messages and points, and an audit log of setting changes. Kicklet says restoring an older version from the audit log needs Premium.
  • Free web tools. A VOD downloader that runs in your browser with no account, where you can pick the quality and a time range, plus a chat downloader that saves VOD chat as TXT or JSON. Kick’s help center names Kicklet as a way to download Kick VODs (How to download your Kick VOD).
  • Stream title automation. On Premium, Kicklet can keep your stream title updated with live values, for example a follower goal.

Both bots have custom commands with roles, user and global cooldowns, variables and timed messages. Kicklet has more built-in commands for viewers, such as !points, !watchtime, !top, !uptime and !followers, plus mod commands such as !timeoutall and !banall that act on everyone who sent a matching message. KickBot’s built-in commands are !commands, !followage, !lurk, !me, !so and !welcome. If you like to script, Kicklet’s JavaScript commands go further. If you want simple commands set up in a dashboard, both work. See custom commands and command variables.

KickBot has free on-screen alerts for follows, subs, gifted subs, KICKs and raids in its widget library, with your own text, image and sound. You can also build your own with the widget builder. Kicklet lists alerts, follower goals, loading screens, custom widgets and a gallery of widgets, minigames and commands. Kicklet shop items can also play sounds and images on stream.

At the time of writing (October 2026):

  • KickBot: Free plan, or Premium for $9.99 a month or $84 a year (USD). See Premium.
  • Kicklet: “Start free”. Kicklet’s docs say Premium raises limits and adds features such as stream title automation, shop item stock and code actions in the shop. The Premium price and the exact plan limits are not listed on their public site.
  • Your chat loves TTS, or you want your own cloned voices.
  • You want !clip with a public clip page, plus a VOD editor and clip downloader.
  • You want tips on the same dashboard, with chargeback protection and approval before the viewer pays.
  • You want AI replies and AI images in your chat, or a Stream Deck plugin.

To try it, create your KickBot account and type /mod KickBot in your Kick chat. Most of KickBot is free.

Yes. For example, use Kicklet for points, the shop and song requests, and KickBot for TTS, clips and tips. Make sure two bots do not answer the same command, or your chat gets two replies. Turn the command off in one of them. Both bots have default commands named !commands and !followage.

KickBot needs the moderator role in your channel. Type /mod KickBot in your chat. See add KickBot as a moderator.

Is Kicklet or KickBot better?

It depends on what your channel needs. KickBot is better for TTS voices and voice cloning, !clip with clip pages, card tips and AI replies in chat, none of which Kicklet lists on its site. Kicklet is better for points, a shop, giveaways, song requests and JavaScript commands. Both are free to start, so you can try both.

Is Kicklet free?

Kicklet says you can “start free”, and its VOD downloader and chat downloader are free with no account. A Premium plan adds higher limits and some features. Kicklet does not list the Premium price on its public pages.

Does Kicklet have TTS?

TTS is not listed on Kicklet’s site or in its docs at the time of writing. KickBot has 4 free TTS voices and more than 3,000 voices with Premium.

Can I move from Kicklet to KickBot?

There is no import tool. Add your commands and timed messages again in KickBot. See custom commands and timed messages. You can keep Kicklet for points and song requests.
